With over two decades of experience in Food Processing and a solid 14-year track record in management, construction, consulting, energy engineering, sustainability management, and funding programs, Mr. DiGiacomo is a seasoned professional at the forefront of energy management innovation. His expertise encompasses energy-efficient design, wastewater management, compressed air, vacuum systems, industrial refrigeration, HVAC, process cooling, fluid handling, lighting, and process improvements.
While specializing in Demand Side Management (DSM) solutions, Mr. DiGiacomo actively facilitates Distributed Energy Resource (DER) solutions and participates in DSM and DER programs on a national scale. As the President and Co-Founder of Imperion, formally DC Energy Services, he leads the charge in overseeing the multi-disciplinary operations of the company.
Mr. DiGiacomo holds prestigious certifications including Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst (PMVA), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), and Certified Energy Manager (CEM). His commitment to professional excellence is further underscored by his past role as the president of the Association of Energy Engineers – San Joaquin Valley Chapter.
With a proven track record, he has played a pivotal role in over 150 projects, securing over $20MM in funding and delivering annual cost savings exceeding $20MM for clients. Mr. DiGiacomo's comprehensive skill set, leadership, and dedication to advancing sustainable energy solutions position him as a driving force in the industry, consistently delivering value and innovation to his clients.
Seasoned energy professional with 8 years of expertise in the energy management sector and over 6 years of experience in the industrial refrigeration field. Holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Fluids and Alternative Energy. Early career involved hands-on experience as a Refrigeration Technician Apprentice at Cochran Mechanical Inc. Transitioned to Lockheed Martin as a Project Engineer for 3+ years, contributing to the success of Southern California Edison’s Industrial Energy Efficiency Program.
Currently serving as the Vice President and Co-Founder of Imperion, formally DC Energy Services, an esteemed engineering and consulting firm specializing in Industrial Systems, Energy Engineering, and Project Management. Holds certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Passionate about driving sustainable and efficient solutions in the energy landscape.
Prior to this, Bill founded and led HATCHGROVE CONSULTING, LLC, where he played a crucial role in regulatory compliance, successfully lobbying the EPA to certify new renewable oil for biodiesel production. This achievement allowed his client, Novita Nutrition, to expand the use of renewable feedstock, aligning with California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standards and the federal Renewable Fuels Standard.
His earlier career at VERASUN ENERGY as Senior VP of Strategic Initiatives and Sales & Marketing saw Bill contribute to the advancement of pro-ethanol legislation, establish strategic industry relationships, and secure key public figures for company events. He also co-founded CYBERSOURCE / EXPRESSGOLD.COM, where he patented an internet-based stored value platform, and played a significant role in the growth of a start-up acquired by American Express.
Beyond professional achievements, Bill has been an active community leader, founding the Mountain Madness Running Camp and serving in various leadership roles in local organizations. His commitment to community service is matched by a passion for outdoor activities, including trail running, skiing, and mountaineering. Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has been recognized as the Eberly School of Business and Information Technology Entrepreneur of the Year.
Ms. Do graduated from the University of California Irvine, double majoring in Sociology and English. She analyzes data trends and interpret it eloquently to support management and clients with informed decision making. She brings the intellect of a social science background into the narratives for Influence documents and grant writing.
Beginning her early career for Fitness International (dba LA Fitness), as an Operations Analyst, Ms. Do was able to learn about what it takes to run a successful industry leading business. She was recognized as a consistent top performer in her department and promoted to a Senior Internal Auditor. In her tenure, she supported 800+ facilities, oversaw acquisitions, audited against $2B+ in annual revenue, and saved ~$1.3M annually in charge backs.
With her strong operations skills, Ms. Do transitioned seamlessly into an Operations Lead role at Lockheed Martin Energy. Under the Southern California Edison (SCE) Local Capacity Resources (LCR) program she completely redefined the duties for the position, defined a process, eliminate error, streamlined participation timeline and managed 200+ vendors, 300 projects, to achieve 15MW+ of peak demand energy savings.
Building upon her successes, she was promoted to Operations Manager to develop and implement the California Statewide Lighting program, a partnership with SCE, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). Directed all operations including the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, call center, vendor management, operations staff, and QC of 700+ projects.
With a track record of success for her seamless process development, she was promoted to a National Operations, Planning and Business Strategy Manager position where she supported proposals, program start up, process improvement, staffing, CRM, business development.
Additional notable clients/projects include: Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) residential and commercial, Dominion Energy Virginia, SDG&E Comprehensive Energy Management Systems (CEMS), PG&E Multifamily Energy Solutions (MFES), PG&E California Energy Smart Homes (CESPH), Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Louisville Gas & Electric – Kentucky Utilities (LG&E-KU), Kentucky Power, Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E), Evergy, SDG&E Energy Edge, San Diego Community Power – Commercial Application Assistance (CAA) Pilot.
With her extensive experience in strategic planning and business development on a national scale, Ms. Do is now the Vice President of Business Strategy for Imperion. She will combine her skills for operations efficiency and business savvy drive mindful strategic growth and client focused results.
