DC Energy is Now Imperion
Name Change Reflects Growth of Company and Diversity of Services
DC Energy is excited to announce that we have changed our name to Imperion. The new name is part of a strategic rebrand designed to better reflect our role as a best-in-class sustainability solutions partner for the food processing and industrial sectors operating in California’s Central Valley and beyond.
The name DC Energy came from combining the first letters of our co-founders last names, Jack DiGiacomo and Thomas Cochran. As an energy management and sustainable operations partner, the name served us well for a number of years. In time, however, we realized that DC Energy, while accurate, was limiting in terms of the scope of services we provide our clients.
While energy management is a valuable segment of our services portfolio, we provide much more than that. As we began to work with more and more clients on wastewater and fleet electrification and compliance, among other sustainability management services, we realized that the name DC Energy wasn’t expansive enough for our company’s growth and diversity of offerings.
After careful deliberation, we concluded on the name, Imperion.
Imperion is a name that has room to for expansion in terms of both corporate growth and provided services.
The new name is a blank canvas that allows us to define its meaning through our actions, innovations, and customer relationships. It reflects our ambition to grow and adapt in dynamic markets, is designed to evolve as we do, without being tied to a specific product or service, and it gives us room to explore and provide new sustainability opportunities as they become available.
The name Imperion marks the beginning of an exciting new era for our company, symbolizing our bold approach to the future and the innovation ahead.
