Project Overview

Ardent Mills is a flour-mill located in the central valley that produces a variety of high-quality whole grains, multi-use flours, mixes, and custom multi-grain blends. Their facility usually operates 24-hours per day, 7-days per week with occasional down time for maintenance. Most of the facility’s high energy usage includes equipment such as compressed air, baghouse filtration, HVAC, interior/exterior lighting and processing.

In partnership with Lockheed Martin Energy (LME), Imperion conducted an energy assessment for Ardent Mills’ facility. As a result, Imperion was able to identify energy efficiency opportunities, provide possible incentives, and estimate energy and cost savings.
