Producers Dairy is a subsidiary of Shehadey Family Foods, a second and third-generation family-owned food company. The Fairfield facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a total of 8,760 operating hours each year. The company takes pride in nourishing and supporting its community and leads the dairy industry through its commitment to product freshness, sustainability, and ongoing innovation.
Imperion conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the wastewater pretreatment system at Producers’ Fairfield facility. The evaluation assessed the existing process flow, equipment specifications, and the effectiveness of chemical treatment. Based on the findings, the team collaborated with a trusted network of industry-leading equipment and chemical providers to address process inefficiencies, opportunities for enhanced chemical feed automation, and a reduction in daily operator tasks. From there, Imperion developed a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to streamline tasks, ensure consistency between operators, and help maintain regulatory compliance. To further optimize performance and system operation, Imperion provided technical guidance and support during implementation and upgrade integration.
The training curriculum strengthened operators’ understanding of the treatment process, provided foundational knowledge of each system component, and ensured that staff could effectively implement the SOP. It also safeguards against knowledge loss during turnover and provides a structured framework that supports long-term wastewater treatment efficiency and system reliability.
